Peace X Peace

network that links women's groups inside the United States with women's
groups outside the United States by areas of mutual concern. Circles
work locally on all aspects of community building, from financial equity
to prevention of abuse to inclusive governments to truth in media,

PeerSpirit
An education and service company that believes council, or
circle, to be the common root of all cultures, a tradition that can

a 5th United Nations International Conference on Women that, in turn, will

From the Four Directions
A global
leadership initiative of the Berkana Institute founded
by Dr. Margaret Wheatley, author of Leadership and the New Science
and Turning to One Another. The project creates and supports local,
on-going leadership circles focused on life-affirming leadership.

Circle Project
Teen Talking Circles and Women's Circles Network offer workshops, trainings and
retreats to adults, so that you can offer young people safe spaces, Teen Circles,
in your community.
United States Social Forum (USSF)
Under the banner of ‘Another
World is Possible,’ tens of thousands of community organizers,
trade unionists, students/youth, NGO representatives, elected officials
and social movements gather for a weeklong conference filled with dialogues,
workshops, debates, marches, rallies, and cultural events. The World
Social Forum (WSF) was created to provide an open platform to discuss
alternatives to the economic plans created by multi-national corporations
and the governments at the World Economic Forum that often result in
strategies that suppress workers and human rights, and undermine national
and Indigenous sovereignty. The USSF has since become an annual event,
hosting up to 100,000 people each year.
US Women Connect
Connect all US women for a larger, louder, more powerful and
collective voice in polices critical to women and our families. Building
bridges from the ground up, USWC is linking state coalitions and alliances
across county lines into state networks for support of a US women’s
agenda and the Beijing+10 Platform for Action for equality, development
and peace.
